Gavra Freedrive races are semi-regular one-off race events for registered drivers to join on a casual basis. You don’t need to be an officially licensed Gavra driver, but you must register with Gavra Racing to participate. Gavra Freedrive is a chance to mix it with some Gavra regulars, as well as other like-minded drivers from outside Gavra Racing. Registering below to Gavra Freedrive only needs to be done ONCE. After you register, your name will be added to the Drivers List. By registering for the Freedrive, you agree to follow our Race Rules and follow our clean racing guidelines. Please read carefully the rules and guides here on the Gavra Racing website before registering. If we receive complaints or observe chronic reckless and disrespectful on-track behaviour, we may have to remove offending drivers from the Drivers List.
Sign up one time for Freedrive drivers’ list.

NOTE: to sign up for a Freedrive event you have to fill in the form at the bottom of the page.
When your name is on the Drivers List, you will be added to the Gavra Freedrive group chat where we alert you to upcoming events.
IMPORTANT: The group chat is reserved for event notification and important announcements from Gavra admin ONLY. Please do not use it for social interaction or comments about events. Only Gavra Racing admin can add drivers to the Freedrive group. Everyone has questions occasionally, but please read the event details carefully. Please direct any questions you may still have directly to group admin or a Freedrive friend for answers.
If you are interested in participating, come to this page and sign up for events as they appear in the Freedrive Event Registration below. Registration for events will be closed 12 hours before the scheduled Real-Time Start.
Pop-up groups for individual events will be made so drivers registered to those events can get information and discuss details particular to each.
There is no limit on driver numbers for these events, but Freedrive events do require a minimum of 8 drivers to run. Less than 8 registrations means the event will be delayed or cancelled. More than 16 registrations means the event will be split into two or more groups. If we need to split because of high registration numbers, a 15 minute time trial will be run as part of the event, and drivers graded into groups according to their best lap time.
Remember, Freedrive is for fun, casual racing in a safe environment. There will be drivers of all skill levels here, so if you are an experienced driver, please be patient and helpful.
This Tuesday the newest DLC-Pack was released by SMS to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Porsche. The pack includes some of the most iconic race-cars in the history of Porsche and the test track of Porsche in Leipzig. The track which was designed by Hermann Tilke is replicating a few of the most famous corners of circuits all around the world. New Porsches can be tested through all those corners on a single track. But why should we drive the replica if we can go for the real deal? As sim racers we can race on various tracks around the globe on a single evening. This is what we are going to do in this Freedrive event! We will start at Monza in the afternoon, driving on the real “Parabolica”. One hour later and due to timezones in the morning, we will fly through the original “Cork-Screw” at Laguna Seca Raceway. After that, we will cruise into the sunset at Spa, leaving behind the old “Bus Stop” at Leipzig and enjoying Eau Rouge, Blanchimont and many others… No DLC is needed for this event but cars from the different DLCs in the Vintage GT-A class can be used. This includes also the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 of the new DLC. Only who can manage the long straights of Monza as well as the up and downs of Laguna Seca and the beginning darkness of Spa has a chance of winning this demanding event. All three races will count according to the point scheme depicted here: http://gavraracing.altervista.org/points-and-weather. The events winner is the driver with most points in summation of all three races. Registration is closed.
