Rules

The Gold Crown Series, a mini-championship that will held at the end of the season for 4 weeks. It will be composed from 8 rounds, 2 races for round (Race 1 50%, Race 2 25%). In this competition the drivers will be splitted in 4 teams (Academy, Freshman League, Super League and Premier Series) and will have to represent their championship. The team/championship with the most points will win the Gold Crown Series and will result the best championship of the season.

NOTE: For the Academy will be able to join ONLY the licensed drivers.

Race Start

Races start 30 min. than usual at 21:00 CET (20:00 UK).

Day of the races

In this championship the races will take place on different days (Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu).

Cars

For the championship there will be used the multiplayer custom cars. Drivers will have to edit their livery according the team they belong.

Teams

Teams are splitted for colours:

  • Super League – White
  • Premier Series – Red
  • Freshman League – Blue
  • Academy – Black

Every team has to deploy 5 drivers for a single race. Drivers can be different each race.

NOTE: drivers have to race both races and can’t switch their place with another driver between the 2 races.

Registration

Since this is a league for teams only, there’s no need to sign up. Drivers will decide together who will take part to the races. Once decided every team/championship has to comunicate the drivers’ list to the host (GAVRANOVIC1991) at least 2 days before the race.

Penalties

Teams are responsable of their drivers. If a driver get a penalty, this will be applied to the whole team (See race rules).

Comunication

Comunication is really important, if there’s a changement to the drivers’ list please contact the host GAVRANOVIC1991.

Race Rules

You Should Not:

1) Push or block others.

2) Engage in any form of cheating.

3) Cut or swerve in front of other drivers.

4) Message or talk during qualifying and racing (ensure your microphone is turned off).

5) Race with or unduly delay drivers who are lapping you. Also, please let obviously faster drivers unlap themselves.

6) Use the reset button to get back on track quickly.

PLEASE NOTE: The race group chat IS NOT the place to accuse or complain about race incidents. Please, DO NOT engage in blame and accusations in the chat. This is important to maintain the good community feeling that Gavra Racing has developed over a long time. The ONLY place a race issue can be solved is in the Discord channel ‘#incident claims’.

Claim

To make a claim:

  • In any channel on the Gavra Racing Discord server, type the command ‘!claim’.
  • You will be automatically given the role of ‘@Making A Claim’ and the ‘#incident-claims’ channel will become available to you.
  • Please delay posting to the ‘#incident-claims’ channel to allow some time for careful thought and consideration regarding your claim. Prepare your claim, but please wait a few hours, think about and review your claim before posting to the ‘#incident-claims’ channel.
  • Post your claim with a link to the video evidence from your replay and/or the video stream. Please note that video evidence is required; no video means no claim.
  • Please make sure you provide the exact time of the incident in the video(s).
  • Claims must be made within 48 hours of race finish.
  • After your claim is posted, the ‘@Making A Claim’ role will be removed, and you will no longer have access to the ‘#incident-claims’ channel.

Team License Penalties

At the beginning of the season, teams are usually at ‘0′ (zero) level on their license. Teams could have penalty levels added to their license as a result of protests or direct action from the Gavra Stewards team. In this particular championship if a driver gets a penalty, the whole team will have to serve it. The exact penalty for an incident depends upon the penalty level the team is currently at. License points are removed if the whole team runs a clean race.

License Level Penalties (LLPS)

LLPs added are variable and applied at the discretion of the incident review panel depending on the severity of the incident. Typically +1 Level for a minor incident, and +2 Levels for a more serious incident. The LLP scale is listed below:

LLP0 – No Penalty
LLP1-2 – Limited Qualifying Duration (10 min.)
LLP3-4 – Limited Qualifying Duration (5 min.)
LLP5-6 – Qualifying Ban
LLP7-8 – Qualifying Ban for two consecutive races (clean races will still lower your LLP as normal)
LLP9-10 – Race Suspension
LLP11-12 – Championship Disqualification

Lobby Settings

Reverse Grid (Race 2)

The top 8 drivers of the race 1 being reversed, so the driver who finished 8th will start from the pole position and the winner of race 1 will start 8th and so on. While, drivers from the 9th position to the last will start in the same position they finished race 1.

Lobby Issues

In case there are problems with the lobby (glitches, lags, etc), a new lobby will be created, with the same settings. If a glitch occurs between qualify and race or during the formation lap, the new lobby will be created with a custom grid, if possible. In this case, the top 10 drivers must start the race with the tire compound they qualified. Drivers who will start with a tire compound different from the one with which they qualified, they will get a LLP2 penalty. In case it isn’t possible to make a custom grid, the whole qualify will be repeated and so the previous results cancelled.

Points System Race

In the championship will be used the F1 point system for race 1 and a different point system for race 2 (see the table below). Also, 1 point is awarded for the fastest lap if a driver finishes the race in the 1st 10 positions.

In case 2 or more teams should finish the season on equal points, to determine the final standings we will take into account the factors below in this order:

  • Most Wins
  • Most Pole Positions
  • Most Podiums
  • Lowest Average LLPs
  • Best Minor Placings
