The Gavra 24h event will push the boundaries of the GT Sport game and we hope you are all going to massively enjoy it. Teams of 1-4 drivers will compete across the entire 24h period all of which will be streamed live. In total there’s a potential for a grid of 56 drivers although some teams may contribute less than others. It is permitted to do the whole 24 hours yourself, but we personally would not recommend it!
Toussaint0208 (Unlimited Chicken on Discord) is the host, please send him a friend request.
The race will take place on the 24th-25th July starting at 15:00 CET (14:00 BST) with the qualifying a week earlier on the 17th of July.
Assists Available – ABS, Traction Control, Automatic Gearbox.
Banned – All other assists.
As previously stated, Group 1 and Group 3 cars will compete on track at the same time for victory in their respective classes.

There will 8 lobbies comprising of a 3 hour long race set one after the other during the 24 hour event, each lobby will be seen as a stint.
GT Sport doesn’t allow for driver changes unfortunally, drivers will leave each lobby at the end of the 3 hour stint and be replaced by the next set of drivers. (See the rules for more info).
The end result of the race will be decided by the standings in the final lobby (Plus any penalty that a team gets).
Qualifying 17th July
Weekend before the race there will be a qualifying session divided by class.
Each qualifying session will last 30 mins in which a driver nominated by each team will compete to set their fastest lap. The fastest lap will dictate the grid for the race.
Gr.3 – 18:00 CET
Gr.1 – 18:45 CET
Race 24th-25th July
The race will then commence the following weekend starting on Saturday at 15:00 CET and ending on Sunday at 15:00.
Car power and minimum weight must be set to 100% and 100% if found to be outside this regulation teams will be disqualified immediately.
It is possible to access telemetry at any point during a stint and we will be subjectng teams to random checks in each stint to check for this.
There WILL NOT be penalties for pausing and putting cars into auto drive whilist on track as these will be ghosted and will allow drivers to take a break, they will also loose time anyway.
Gr.1 | Gr.3 |
6 cars | 8 cars |
Max 4 drivers per team | Max 4 drivers per team |
24 drivers max | 32 drivers max |
Total | 56 |
Teams may operate with fewer drivers if they so wish although we don’t recommend doing the whole thing yourself.
Each race will have a rolling start with the same settings as listed in the section lobby settings, there will be no formation lap.
Lobby Start times will be started at the followin IRL times with the in-game times in bold.

1 Lobby Stint lengths and race timings – Each lobby will consist of a 3 hour race only with the race results from the end of each 3 hour stint being recorded via screenshot.
1.1 After the 3 hour race is over the next lobby stint will be opened in the next time by slot e.g. if the 1st lobby is 11:00 cloudy the next will be 15:00 sunny as this is the next timing slot within the game.
1.2 In the new lobby the grid will be detreminated by the results of the previous lobby.
1.2.1 Please note that this means that gaps between the cars on the lead lap will be eliminated cars that are a lap down or more will not gain that lap back.
1.2.2 This means that the gaps between each car must be recorded after each race is over, this will be done via screenshot of the race result available via the stream.
1.2.3 To be considered a lap down a car must not have completed teh same laps as the leader at the end of the stint – even in the event that the lead car crosses the line with less than 5 seconds remaining and the next car doesn’t make it to the line in time to start next lap.
1.3 In the event of a disconnection or a wheel failure the lobby will not be restarted. The affected team will lose however many laps are left in the stint.
1.3.1 A lobby will only be restarted in the event of a NAT type glitch in which case is up to the lobby host as to how many times the stint is restarted.
1.4 The stream is to be ended and restarted after the end of each stint so that we don’t exceed the streaming limits. There will also be different teams of commentators, some lobbies will be streamed without commentaries.
2 Race start procedure – For lobby 1 there will be safety car start with one of the commentators (the one who isn’t streaming) will be driving the pace car on the opening lap.
2.1 At the end of the lap the safety car will put into the pits and the driver will then pause and press exit from the main menu once out of the pits.
2.2 The field will then line up in a 2 by 2 formation lap and will be allowed to accelerate from the start line.
2.3 Any car seen as not adhereing to this will be given an automatic LLP4 this can also be checked at asy time during the race, we will replay the race start offstream to check for this also .
2.4 This will not be repeated for the remainding lobbies.
3 Tyres – During each stint 2 compounds of tyres must be used within the 3 hour long stint out of the compounds available.
4 Lapping other cars – There will be 2 classes of car on track at the same time and sp navigating traffic will be important.
4.1 When different classes are lapping each other , it is the main responsability of the group 1 car to ensure the pass is completed cleanly as they have more acceleration and downforce. This will be considered when applying penalties.
4.2.1 Cars are still allowed to unlap themself provided it doesn’t cause an incident
5 Penalties- Penalties will be awarded for this event making use of the existing penalty structure.
5.1 Penalties will be awarded using time penalties added to the final race results instead of place relegations as it is a 24hour race.
LLP0 – No Penalty
LLP1 – 15 sec of penalty
LLP2 – 30 sec of penalty
LLP3 – 50 sec of penalty
LLP4 – 1 min of penalty
LLP5 – 1 lap of penalty
LLP6 – 2 laps of penalty
LLP7 – Disqualification from the event
5.1.1 – Penalties can be added together, e.g. a team can receive a LLP2 and then another LLP2 to build up a penalty of 40 sec
5.2 Straight disqualifications can be dealt by the stewards for offences where its deemed necessary e.g. cheating with vehicle settings
5.2.1 Penalties can be given at any point in the race and after the race
5.3 The stream will be used to notify teams of penalties as well as which teams are under investigation, all teams will need to keep an eye on stream
5.4 Penalties will be applied in the lobby in which they are applied
5.4.1 Penalties involving 1 lap addition ie. LLP5 and above will affect the following lobbies see regulation 1.2.1 for how this will be affected
6 Car Regulations – Some cars of the approved list won’t be used i.e. there can be 4 Ferraris and 0 Vipers
6.1 All team members must use the same car throughout the race
